چکیده
Bromeliads are used in landscaping due to the beauty of their leaves and flowers. The use plant regulators such as nitric oxide (NO) promotes stimulus germination it has been a way out enhance production reduce search for plants nature nanoencapsulation aims optimize its effect. objective this work was evaluate effect using free nanoencapsulated NO donor on D. excelsa. treatments consisted soaking seeds 5 minutes with s-nitrosoglutathione (GSNO), chitosan/sodium tripolyphosphate nanoparticles containing GSNO (NP CS/TPP-GSNO) empty CS/TPP) at doses: 15 mM 20 mM. control imbibition distilled water. For each treatment, 4 replications 50 were used. following variables evaluated: percentage (GER), first count (FGC), speed index (GSI), average time (AGT) addition length (SL) seedling dry weight (SDW). To characterize seeds, water content viability evaluated. excelsa had 9.9% 64% viability. GER, ranged from 43 60%. application stimulated process did not cause any difference results compared GSNO. It concluded that or is recommended stored

Leaf Epidermis of the Rheophyte Dyckia brevifolia Baker (Bromeliaceae)
Some species of Dyckia Schult. f., including Dyckia brevifolia Baker, are rheophytes that live in the fast-moving water currents of streams and rivers which are subject to frequent flooding, but also period of low water. This study aimed to analyze the leaf epidermis of D. brevifolia in the context of epidermal adaptation to this aquatic plant's rheophytic habitat. The epidermis is uniseriate, ...
متن کاملEffects of Exogenous Nitric Oxide on Germination and Physiological Properties of Basil under Salinity Stress
Nitric oxide (NO) is a bioactive molecule, which was found to have several physiological roles, including antioxidant. To have a better understanding of the effects of NO concentrations (0, 0.1 and 0.2 mM) on germination, growth, photosynthetic pigments, lipid peroxidation and antioxidant activity of basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) under different salinity concentrations (0, 100 and 200 mM of NaCl)...
متن کاملthe effect of nitric oxide donor in diabetic wound healing
diabetes is characterized by a nitric oxide deficiency at the wound site. diabetes is a factor that influences all stages of wound healing. in animals with acute experimental diabetes induced by streptozotocin (stz), the early inflammatory responses after wounding is impaired, fibroblast and endothelial cell proliferation is reduced as well as accumulation of reparative collagen and gain in wou...
متن کاملA set of plastid microsatellite loci for the genus Dyckia (Bromeliaceae) derived from 454 pyrosequencing.
UNLABELLED PREMISE OF THE STUDY Phylogeographical analyses of Dyckia (Bromeliaceae) suffer from low levels of sequence variation. Plastid microsatellite markers were developed to achieve a better-resolved genus-wide plastid genealogy of Dyckia. • METHODS AND RESULTS Approximately 84% of the D. marnier-lapostollei plastome was sequenced using 454 technology. Flanking primer pairs were desig...
متن کاملInfluence of atmospheric nitric oxide concentration on the measurement of nitric oxide in exhaled air.
BACKGROUND Measurement of nitric oxide (NO) in exhaled air shows promise as a non-invasive method of detecting lung inflammation. However, variable concentrations of NO are measured in environmental air. The aim of this study was to verify a possible relationship between exhaled NO and atmospheric NO values during high atmospheric NO days. METHOD Exhaled air from 78 healthy non-smokers of mea...
